Looking for readable dimension (aka production) drawings for the P-40C. (Actually, at this point any flavor will do) I am interested in any tales and adventures of others trying to track done authentic production information and the best (highest resolution of data items) method to digitize a drawing or microfiche if it were found in an archive somewhere.
I'm particularly interested in the rudder components and readable assembly drawings. The rudder assy appeals to me because its spans both the canvas skills of WW-I and the metal of the 1930s. I thought that, although foolish, trying to recreate one of those rudders would be an exciting learning experience.
