Anyone have any on hand? This should be a bit easier than my last request (XP-51F/G/J lightweight Mustangs) since these did get made. Thanks in advance :)

I'd love to see them. I'm especially interested in Wright-Patterson AFB/Wright Field and NACA images, or promo images, though I'll accept anything since HQ/high res photos of both are kinda rare (though there's some of the restored XP-82 out there).

Maybe I should request a thread for Wright Field/Wright Patterson and NACA images of World War II era aircraft in general?

I have these on the F-82 I took at Oshkosh back in 2019 if that helps

Thanks for the photos and materials. Boeing has some good photos of various Mustang variants (and might have more that's not on their site), but I wrote to them about using them for personal/private use but haven't heard back from them yet. If I do hear back, I might ask them if they have any materials pertaining to the lightweight Mustangs.

I did hear from BAe Systems about a similar request, but they said that they don't typically do that aside from what's on their site. So I might ask for recommendations for a good book about Mustang/Twin Mustang developments if I can find a good thread about that.

I have an old article from Fine Scale Modeler article on building a 1/32 P-51H using parts from the Hasegawa and Monogram kits. It was the inspiration for my abortive attempt to build a 1/48 scale P-82.

Dontcha just love how they have the black P/F-82B liveried like it was an F-82G, and the sign says that too. Maybe it says somewhere (and I failed to see it) that this is a P-82B that is painted to resemble an F-82G, or words to that effect).
Regardless, it was great for me to be able to see two Twin Mustangs in the same venue on two successive days back in October, 2018!

Thanks for posting these photos.
