Greetings ladies and gentlemen.

With all of the dangers awaiting children at the corner of the street (or the internet), I thought it was a good idea to start a thread about pedos... That way we could stay "up-to-date" with their techniques and (sometimes funny) pityful explainations. That would allow all of the parents browsing this forum (I know there is a bunch of them) to be more aware of the dangers surrounding their children.

Let's start with a child pornography net that was dismantled in Canada.

My sister worked with the FL State Pen some years back with rapist and peds and said these people are not to be rehabilitated.She told me once a good part of this results from power and control.

Bill Surkis, a leader of the Jewish community of Montréal, was sentenced to 45 days of jail (to be served on week-ends) for possession of child pornography. His stash was found when he brought his computer in for repairs to the local Best Buy store. The technician found 86 videos and 153 photos of girls aged from six to twelve years old.

I'm glad that even prisoners have no use for child abusers, other than giving them a taste of their own medicine (if ya know what I mean). IMO, they are still getting off easy. No punishment is enough for these people.

Firstly, a disclaimer. I'm not a parent. Most of you guys are. So our views will most likely differ here. Having said that...

While I despise these vile creatures as much as you guys, public naming and shaming concerns me. It leads to vigilante behaviour which can go badly awry. In some cases here in the UK, the naming of a paedophile has led to paediatric doctors in the local area being attacked. And I have seen at first hand innocent people targeted simply because they knew or lived near the abuser. The mob is not a clever body, and while killing paedophiles makes good electioneering talk and appeals to many people, you can't un-kill the innocent person you killed by mistake.

I think they should re-open French Guiana, as a "resort" for these people!

I wasn't taking aim at anyone here - more at the crusading spirit of tabloid newspapers and populist politicos who think naming and shaming these creatures, knowing the likely outcome, is a good idea. I would say lock em up for life - for everyone's safety.

Well, I can understand when they haven't been found guilty of anything, but if they were found guilty (or pleaded guilty) to pedophiliac charges, I think it should be every reporter's duty to publish their name and picture. Just to make sure that when they get out (because they will get out someday) and if ever they come live in your neighborhood, you will know it and teach your kids to (at least) avoid them.

Plus, as I stated earlier, this thread is not so much about the scumbags' IDs but rather about their way of attracting kids, their putyful excuses for doing so and how they got caught. Because child abusers always find new techniques to get what they want.
