What's your favorite out of these DB 601* powered fighters?

*Ha-40 was a license built DB 601

109 Friedrich obviously...

Also the Re.2001 was DB 601 powered

i like the range capability of Army Type 3 fighter but summer 43 it's too late for a 601 engined fighter (is too late for start)

I put the Emil in there instead of Friedrich because it was closer performance/armament-wise to the other two.

Also didn't know there was an Re.2001. I'll count votes for that too.

On looks and apparent capability, the Ki-61, which apparently outperformed the Emil in Japanese tests and was somewhat more powerfully armed than the Folgore. But as noted, by the time it was in widespread service the DB601 was old hat

MC.202. No weak spots, augmented by great look, being available early enough.

I love how all the Italian fighters look but I'd consider the C.202's lack of firepower a pretty glaring weak spot. 2 Breda 12.7mm (which were notably weaker than Browning .50's, smaller shell) and two 7.7mm wasn't too great.
