Were there any razorback P-51s used in military service postwar? And if so did any survive in the US airforce long enough to recieve the new insignia in 1947?

I am speculating but pretty sure none of the few remaining B/C's were shipped home from ETO/MTO/PTO/CBI. Those would have been scrapped as so many P-51D-1/5/10's were scrapped.

Quite a few in the states were auctioned off as were 98% of the remaining B-17's - Paul mantz for example purchased a couple for Stunt and racing purposes.

The question remains - would one or two P-51B's remain un USAAF inventory when so many D/K/H's were on hand? and why?
