I've only found a very few photos of the Pratt & Whitney H-3130 engine circa 1938-1940 and I'm wondering if anyone has some they could share. I'd particularly like to find a 3-view line drawing if one exists. I know the general history of the engine but like a lot of others from that era that never saw production, details are hard to come by!

The XH-3730 was basically an XH-3130 with 1/2 inch bigger bore (5.5 to 6, same stroke of 5.5), so I expect it would look much like this. (I expect you've seen these pictures in your searches). Their original H-style was the X-1800 project starting with the XH-2240 which has the same bore and stroke as the Napier Sabre. Their next was the XH-2600 which was 1/4 inch larger in bore and stroke.

I hadn't actually seen that photo - interesting! Thanks for the link!
