I'm sure if you left your lunch on a wooden pole infront of the arrays while on, it'd warm them up, mind due, thats if they were using micro/millimetric waves isn't it.

I think most of the Germans used mostly centimetric waves, wheres as initialy Britiain's CH system was metric before the invention of the Allied Magnatron (diode/resisitor/emmiter?) enabled Millimetric wave generation - I wonder does the bigger waves have less chance of heating your food, or does it need longer or less time...?
