This is an old 1/72 MPC/Airfix kit I picked up for three dollars. Came out looking a little too new but it catches the eye.

I'd enter that into a contest, the cockpit lines are very fine indeed :)

Nice job on the Harvard,
Down here in Oz I have the pleasure of living just near Essendon Airport, they have two Harvard trainers based there and every now and then on a nice day they take them up for a run. It's great to see them they come almost over our house on their approach to the airport and the sound of their engines is fantastic, quite distinct to the usual traffic of Cesnas and other light aircraft they have there. Another thrill is on days there is a big event in Melbourne we have the Famous Roulettes flying over the house one after the other with about 200 metres between them. The swing around our house and land at Essendon before going back home after the event to the RAAF base at Sale. I do enjoy it!!!

Looks great Ed. Nothing wrong with depicting an aircraft new (they all were at some time) and weathering's not mandatory – build 'em as you like. I'd never have guessed this is the old Airfix kit, great job on the canopy framing.
