Hi all,
Just thought I'd let you know about the event being run by our Parish Council this summer. The village of Crossways, Dorset is holding an RAF Warmwell Memorial Weekend on the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st August, 2014. Events include a Memorial re-dedication service, Battle of Britain cinema night, 1940s swing band evening, themed dance night and a static historical display. There is also a village fete on the Sunday with a radio-controlled aircraft display, Mk IX static Spitfire display, re-enactors, military vehicles and more. Also, we are looking at the possibilty of aircraft modellers displaying their 'wares' and would welcome any feedback on this.
If anyone would like to attend or get involved in any of the above capacities then please give me a shout and I'll give you further details.
