I used to get the MPC kits build them with the gear out. Just the right size hole for a firecracker! KABOOOMMM, must'a gone though half a dozen! Great fun, to think that was fifty years ago.

First of the Mistel orders in...

White Cat Models #7201: Ta 154 Mistel 'Beethoven'.

This was a July 1944 proposal by Focke-Wulf to utilise war-weary Fw 190As as Führungsflugzeuge (control aircraft) with the relatively cheap to build Ta 154 as the lower 'Grossbombe' component.

Which scale is that Geo? I started their 1:72 Mistel 5 a while back, haven't finished the engines yet (had to scratchbuild new ones as kit items incorrect). The Ar E-377a Grossbombe and startwagen required a bit of sanding to get smooth joins, and wing to fuselage joins filled and sanded flush (port I think slighty crooked if you don't modify the tab).
I intend to finish it off in the near future.

Next Mistel projects in. (both 1:72 of course)

MAC Distribution #72042: Fieseler Fi-103A-1. For an undated Fieseler Mistel proposal (Fw 190A-8/ Fi-103)

Hobby 2000 #72050: Arado Ar 234C-3 w/ Bombentorpedo. For an Arado Mistel proposal dated 30.11.44 (Ar 234C/ Ar E.377)
