Reno Update

I was talking with Steven Hinton Jr on Saturday and he says the FAA has agreed to release the Reno airspace for the 2012 rookie school. The players met this last week and weekend and are deciding thef ate of the Reno Air Races. Everyone was positive and there is every reason to hope for a continuation of thee vent.

So the news is very hopeful, but not quite final.

Wish I had more.

Thanks for the update Greg. I'm starting to get chatter my way and it seems things are moving forward. I do know some owners, at least in the jet class planning to race in September. Let's hope this pans out!

I just read on Reno Air Racing Association Facebook page that they have received insurance (at a significant increase in premium). So the races are all go for this year!
