I'm not sure about this one Karl, and I've 'clocked it' myself. It could very well be the old, I think early '70's kit. If it is, I seem to recall the wing was not very accurate, being too 'pointy' I think, and the underside centre section is 'flat'. I know it'd cost more, but the Tamiya Spit Mk1, or the Airfix one, can be made into a MkII by adding the Coffman starter blister on the front starboard nose.

i'm looking at the 1/48 revell/monogram spitfire MkII kit whats it like ?

does it go together well and does anyone know what decals are included

Ahoy Karl
I have some data about the kit I built one of these kits when it was first released. Monogram produced this kit in November 1962 it was aniother gimic model the prop spins aqnd the undercarriage is retractable not a bad kit for its day as for the decals I am in the dark its been almost 50 years ago scince I had this kit all I can remember is the decals were roundels and it had squadron codes not a bad spit. If I were you get the Tamiya kit its miles better.
