Similar incident last week involving a US Navy Hawk (T-45), crashed on approach to an auxilliary field near Kingsville Tx. Both ejected safely, airframe is a write off. Glad everyone is ok.

The entire RAF and RN fleet of Hawk T1's has been grounded following this incident, apparently attributed to engine failure, until the cause is identified and remedied.
The Hawk ( T1 at least ) is scheduled to retire from UK serviced this year, after 40 years of service.
