Rüstsätze late in the war

I'm wondering about usage of available external weapons on late models of main Luftwaffe fighters (Bf 109, Fw 190) during last months of war (from autumn 1944 to spring 1945).

I mean, gunpods carrying 20 and 30 mm weapons, figuring among available armaments also of, e.g., Bf 109G-10 and Fw 190A-8, were actually employed? If yes, in which instances?
