Russian ShKas machine gun

I'm thinking of modeling one at 1/3.3 scale and have found several good drawings, but I need something to scale them to. I found a thread on this forum (which I can't find now) which gives the overall length as 810mm and the barrel length as 585mm. But does that overall length include the rear handle seen on some aircraft (such as a Po2 biplane)?

The thread was from 2008 so may not be active anymore.
