    Just watched a few programs about some of them, and it makes me wonder......aren't they getting a bit on the big side now?

    I watched a really cool show that compared how the Americans take down a building (ie blow it up) vs how Japan does it. They start at the bottom and remove the bottom sections floor by floor so that builing is gradually lowered. I have to admit it was pretty interesting to watch

    More fun to watch, at any rate. I'd guess that Japan's method yields more reusable materials in a shorter period of time.

    Modern technology is allowing us to build bigger (taller) buildings, but mother nature will always have the last word as to how long those "super buildings" remain standing :lol:
