My hope is that they will be releasing some of the 'ignored' aircrafts. Special Hobby has latched onto that nitche but I'm really not impressed with their kits.

Oh please no, that's not even funny!Neither Spitfire, 109 and P-51 nor Fw 190. Just the 200% price hike ...
Speaking as someone who sells the kits as well as buying them in for builds, etc - it has been consistently difficult to sell steeply priced 'common' subjects. After all, a customer asks the valid question 'Why should I spend X on a Tamiya/Hasegawa Spitfire when I can buy a *insert cheaper brand here* for less?
My response is rapidly becoming something along the lines of .....'erm...... the boxes are nice?'
(I should say this isn't just a Tamiya thing - Airfix wanting £72 RRP for the new Buccaneer is still sinking in....)

Probably a 1:24 1958 VW, which I hope for as I owned one when I was 17; blue with yellow flames and big fat winter tires on the back

1:48 P-38J and a "Swimming Sea Otter" among others........a freakin' Sea Otter but no Groundhog!!!!!!
