A USAAF pilot sees his crash-landing in a Spitfire for the very first time, nearly 70-years after it happened. 16mm footage shot at the time was discovered and it happened that the pilot filmed in the incident never remembered it being filmed.
This short 14 minute film received an honourable mention at the Sundance Film Festival. It's just great to see his reaction because he didn't know the footage existed.
I particularly like how Blyth explains how, at the beginning of his mission, he lands at an air base and is asked by the pilots where his guns were, or where his escort was.
