    *if* it were a real pass under the bridge, the starboard side of the fuselage would be in deep shadow like the bridge and abutments.

    The article also states that the picture is disputable, but the event really happened.

    It's an interesting recreation of the event. But yeah, that photo is fake. Let's say the MiG-17 was moving slow, about 200mph. I don't think he would be that close to the bridge, at that angle, at that speed, unless he flew through the bridge.
