Below are two photos of a carburettor attached to an early Hispano-Suiza V-8 engine. Top pic is front view; lower one shows rear aspect.
The carb. is a twin-choke, updraft unit with a barrel-throttle. Float chamber seems quite conventional.
However, each choke has some sort of double bell-mouth arrangement which is rather unusual.
Anybody have a line drawing or cross-section that shows what's going on here??
