This is a 1/72 scale Ki-74 "Patsy" high altitude reconnassance bomber. Thought of first as a fighter, it was code named "Pat" by the Allies but later changed to "Patsy" when its true mission was discovered. One of the few Japanese aircraft equipped with a pressurized cockpit during the war. Manufactured by Tachikawa this is the thirteenth pre-production model. Kit is resin from AV Models.

Ed, what did you use for the window glass on all the little portholes? And the big one in the nose? Jim

Decals. Cut out with a rotating leather punch from black decal stripes. A touch of clear gloss when model was dulcoted. Here are three sizes. I find gloss black looks more like glass than silver.
