Hi guys,

I bought this tail wheel, i was told that it's American aircraft fighter, it 's possible?

Could we find a date, type of aircraft, with serial number or design?

Thank everybody,

Best regards.

Hello,

I think, the bigger probability of WW2 fighter is P51 mustang.

If it would be a wheel of a P-51 the rim would look different.

Thank you for 2 answers,

yes and more we can just 3 "clamping bolt" with lighter aircraft (Stinson, Aeronca...) and 5 "clamping bolt" with fighter

That's a pretty small wheel for a fighter's tail-wheel: 5.00-4 = 4" (10.16cm)

I'd look more at lighter aircraft, like an L-5 or something along those lines.

I read the tape measure to say the tire diameter to be close to 40cm. Hub is about 15.

Hello everybody, i found the answer : Idea: , it's bomb lift's wheel, bye.
