This is Tamiya's 1/48 Bf-109 E-4/7 Done in Markings and Camo of Major Helmut Wick ,Gruppenkommandeur 1/JG-2 "Richtofen " at the Time of His Death on November 28 1940.

Always have Liked The 109 E and This is my Favorite Camo on the E,not Easy but Worth it.

Used : Eduard Complete Etch Set,Aires Cockpit,Squadron Vacu-Form Canopy,Ultra Cast Seat,Ultra Cast Exhausts,Master Models Brass Cowling MG's and Wing 20mm Canons,and Quick-Boost Revi Gun Sight.

Scratchbuilt : Pilots Canopy Armor Shield,Underwing and Engine Chin Radiator Grills,Rear Tail Wheel and Main Gear Brakelines .

The Cover of the Osprey Book inspired me to do this Build.

Thank you everyone ,The Mottling was Done after you paint the Top Camo and the Light Blue ,Took a Large Stiff Bristle Brush and dipped in in Tamiya XF-1 Flat Black ,held the surface of the side of the plane Horizontal and Tapped straight up and down putting different pressure every time to get a random effect.
