Yes American Football is still exciting. You just dont understand the sport Lanc. It is too complicated for your feeble mind!

I agree on Baseball though. It is one of the most boring sports I have ever seen.
 
Baseball requires a lot of skill, but obviously not much stamina.

Cricket, well its boring, unless youre the guy at bat or throwing the ball.

Soccer..... needs to be changed to make the game more exciting.

Football needs changing so there isnt so many breaks in the game. Far to many commercials.
 
Cricket is a game that needs to be apprechaited to be enjoyed, once you can apprechaite it you will find it to be a thrilling game, unfortunately for Americans it's a difficult game to grasp and the lack of adverts and loud noises seems to baffel you samewhat........

And is very very boring. They throw a ball every 1 minute and the guy hits it or he does not. Boring!!!!!

No it is exciting. The strategy is exciting. The game is exciting. Your feeble mind just cant keep up with it. Im serious.

American Football is fine the way it is as well.
 
'Soccer' while not a great fan myself, can appreciate the love of the game. It's a strategic game, and many moments for excellent shows of skill. I dislike the fans of 'soccer' more than I do the game, because most English fans are pathetic. And anyone who cries over a sport needs to be shot. I will, sometimes, sit down and watch 'soccer' when the two teams involved seem like a good match-up. I was terribly disappointed with Holland and Portugal though.

American Football is a good game to watch, and can get quite exciting. It is also very tactical, and the contact of the game make it great. It's nothing like Rugby. It is more of a team sport, where individual skill will only shine with the aid of the team. I've watched a few superbowls, and found it very entertaining.

Baseball and Cricket to me are boring to watch. My favourite sports to watch are Basketball and Ice Hockey. I love Basketball because it's fast paced, and the tactics are quick moving. As I used to play it's easier for me, at least, to keep track as a lot of people normally just see it as back and forth scoring. And Ice Hockey is extremely tactical, and exhausting for the players. Being fast paced, and heavy contact make it the perfect sport for those of us with blood lust.
 
Cricket is a sport for gentlemen and sophisticated people, or statistical nerds...I can see why people would see it to be boring, but actually playing it is extremely satisfying...
 
Aha good man...Its even better when we beat Australia We're just deliberately getting our *** kicked by Sri Lanka to lull you into a false sense of security.
 
Being the red blooded englishman that i am i must first defend cricket. Although i will accept that it is a slow game as compared to say basketball. But it has an appeal far above such a rudimentary sport, please no flaming about the indepth rules.
Back to football.
I will agree that the modern professional players are somewhat lacking in most of the requirements to be decent human beings, however as a game it does have the same rudimentary appeal as basketball and hockey (field and ice).
Now if you are looking for a real sport then look no further than rugby. This trully is a spectacle to watch, sound or no. Some estimate that i read in the newspapers during the world cup was that as part of leagal play (i.e. not including any fights, high or dump tackles) a rugby player will go through the equivalent of five car crashes in a match.
I love the way in which the game requires different builds of person for the different tasks on the field. Every player is completely specialised for his position.
One limiting factor to watching and playing rugby (like cricket and hockey and american football by the way) is the in fairly indepth rules which rule the sport.
 
I used to play rugby, so I can appreiciate the game. And do enjoy watching it from time to time. Always one of the highest scorers on my school team. I was the fast, agile winger that the other team hated because they couldn't catch me.
