The local PBS station here has been running a documentary called "The Restorers" about those who restore warbirds. It is absolutely fantastic! From the Heritage Flight with Frank Borman and the Sanders racing team to the Reeds of Pheasant Run airfield to the Wright Brothers Plane rebuilders, its great! If you check your listings, its a must see.

One cool part was Daniel Sanders was asked why restore classic valuable warbirds to flying condition and he responds, "Its like the zoo. Why don't we just shoot the animals, stuff them and then stick'em on a wall. Not the same."

    Amen!!

Thanks for the heads up Njaco. I'll have to do some searching and see if it airs on my local PBS station.
