The book is of typical Roger Freeman writting and takes you through the planning and execution of the the US bombing in the ETO, MTO and PTO. The book highlights the key "players" and talks through the science behind the machines used. Full of key data and contains plenty of black and white photographs and maps where needed.
I picked this copy up off Amazon for under £5 and can happily say its helped me understand the bigger picture. Especially concerning the Atom bomb and the difficulties faced when using the the B-29 when it first entered service and leading onto why the Atom bomb was used.
Can't recommend anything written by Roger Freeman enough.
