Great stuff !
I've always admired Mark's work - he does some beautiful stuff and, no disrespect to 'digital artists', it takes real skill and technique to create such a picture with a brush and paints.

Didn't know that, thanks Wojtek. Robert Talyor, my personal fave, said he likes oils for their flexibility in being able to manipulate the colours so I just assumed.....

I agree. I normally paint (on canvas) with a mixture of oils, and enamels, some just 'household' paint (which are basically ready-thinned 'oils'), and the flexibility, and possibilities, are endless.
Maybe I should try artist's acrylics some day - might save some 'waiting time' before re-paint and / or adjustment.

Very cool. As an aviation art collector, I am interested to see the process. Lots of hard work. Besides, the Lanc is the Badass Bomber of WW2.
