Hi,
I may have asked this before. I am keen to obtain or at least, confirm the existence of, a Parts Book for the Tupolev Tu-2 Aeroplane.
Why I say "confirm the existence of" is because I have been told "there are no parts books for wartime Soviet aircraft, there was no real need for it at squadron level and if a large repair needed to be carried out, a team from the factory would be sent complete with blueprints to carry out the repair". This versus, "yes there is a parts book" so I'm not 100% sure if there even is one.
Does anybody know? Does anybody have one? I am happy to pay for it/copying or whatever! At the moment my only hope is obtaining copies of blueprints and that, especially at the moment, is logistically a nightmare of bureaucracy.
