Could anyone identify this sort of gear? I found this part on a B-17 crash site and the part number is GM749-647.
Is it maybe a part from additional devices which are not shown in the part catalogue or an engine part? It is also possible that the part is from a P-47 thunderbolt, because in this area is still a crash site of a P-47.
