The following was found at a farmhouse west of Vienna, Austria. All pieces were inside an old chest of an radio operator of World War 2. Except 3 pieces everything fits to the equipment of an army soldier. These are: 2 pieces of thick (approx. 2 cm!) glass and one ring made of aluminum. The old farmer kept it after it had been found on the fields north of their farm. It was said that an US-aircraft crashed there by the end of WW2. Could this be an antenna loop ?

Yes, the first item is a rotatable ADF antenna loop found inside a teardrop shaped fairing ("football" antenna).
