Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. A couple of weekends ago I went to RAF Coningsby to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Centre. We got lucky as virtually all their planes were at home.
After the visit we went on to North Norfolk. Due to road works on two main roads we did a bit of dodging around on minor roads. At one point we passed a place called Creake Farm. This was very obviously a former WW II airfield or base of some kind. Lots of semi-ruined WWII type brick buildings and some good condition Nissen Huts.
I can find no trace whatsoever of this place on either the USAF/Army Airforce list of bases or on any RAF lists I have access to.
Can anyone help me in identifying this place please?
