This is not all 1ACG Norseman photos I have but after this I'm not sure that they have stripes.

I have the book "Any Place, Any Time, Any Where, The 1st Air Commandos in World War II" by R.D. Van Wagner. It has several photos of the UC-64A including 1 showing 3 Norsemen in formation and not one has diagonal stripes. The 1st ACG had 7 Norsemen on strength in the following orginizations; 164th, 165th and 166th Liaison Squadrons. It seems that none of the utility aircraft including the L-5 Sentinel and the L-1 Vigilant had the stripes either.
