Hi,
I hope it is ok to post this here.

Up untile today, although I have commented on many other threads on this website, the only post that I had started was just over 14 years ago, noting that I had a copy of the book "America's 100,000" by Francis Dean which had some great information on the weights of various weight groups for US fighters and I was looking to see if anyone had any similar additional information on other aircraft.

Over the years since then I was able to find a couple interesting documents here and on some other sites with a little bit extra data. However, this January, while surfing the internet to help me respond to someone else's post I stumbled across a document from the Society of Allied Weight Engineers that had an extensive amount of such information, not just on fighters, but also dive bombers, torpedo bombers, attack aircraft, trainers, cargo planes, and bombers.

So, starting with the single engine type aircraft like the fighters, attack planes, dive bombers, torpedo bombers and trainers, I've started transposing the information that I have into a website, summarizing the data and showing various parametric plots. Its still a little rough right now, and needs a little clean up, but I figured I'd post a link here to it, if that's OK, in case anyone else is interested in this type of information.

Regards

Pat
