From Strategic bombing of Axis Europe Januari 1943 -September 1944 dated 15 november 1944

"Between late July 1943, when attacks upon the German aircraft industry were launched, and 30 September 1944, a large number of attacks were made on German assembly, component, repair and aero-engine factories. Plants damaged by bombing totalled 58 in 1943, and 146 in 1944. Single-engine fighter aircraft factories bore the brunt of attacks, but production of twin-engine fighters, bombers and miscellaneous types also was materially reduced. Practically all the important aero-engine producers likewise suffered bomb damage ."

Interesting it does not only give the target but also what activities were done at the factories attacked. So you can find that Erla Leipzig Heiterblick produced Fuselages control surfaces and wing fitting for the Bf109. And was bombed by the Usaaf on 20-feb-44 and 29-mei-44.

Attacks upon the German aircraft industry map (195 entries) can be found here http://batchgeo.com/map/0c143e5ae3a26e7af1d02123d4d9798d

110 entries in total and the map can be found here Bomb damage to Axis Target Systems 43-44

Interesting stuff although I have found at least one misplaced location - Fieseler factory in Kassel-Waldau placed somewhere in Austria.

Aircraft industry map, there's a location near Güstrow named Heinkel Rostock, Bleicher Str. Outsourced location or misplaced?

Thanks! it was misplaced and fixed now.
