Right heading down to Cape Town tomorrow before the start of my first trip of this summer (20 days from Cape Town to Vic Falls through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe/Zambia). Will likely be out of touch for the whole time but will try and check in - will certainly update you all when I get back - pictures won't be until August though (or so)....

Yeah this trip is just the appetizer so to speak. Unfortunately you Aussie's are going to have to put up with me for 3 weeks in July (arrive in Sydney on the 9th)...

Not going anywhere near Gaberone Joe, stay in the north of the country - cutting through from Namibia to Ghazi to Maun (Okavango) to Chobe then to Kasane and into Zimbabwe.

In Swakopmund at the moment and so far the trip has been great, Sossusvlei was amazing as was the Quad biking I did in the desert this afternoon.
