Just watched "WW2: Women on the Front Line".
A 2024 series in 3x 1 hour shows, It is a bit general as can be expected trying to cover such a wide subject, and mainly covers the UK experience, but includes a fair amount on other countries and has a few interviews with the women of the time. I found it very informative. It is currently airing on PBS here in the US, but it is available on several streaming networks..
Very worth watching for anyone interested in women performing military duties in WWII, as well as the operational history of WWII in general.
Episode 1: Behind Enemy Lines (Assassins, and Cryptographers, and Spies - Oh My!)
Episode 2: The War in the Air (includes a fair bit on the women's role in the ATA, radar and air controllers, ground crews, and a bit on Soviet female combat pilots)
Episode 3: Boots on the Ground (snipers, drivers, AA FC crew, and such)
