Visiting Cologne Germany... recommendations?

Greetings,
Will be in Cologne Germany next month (April 2015). Are there any must-see's in the aviation (or even general history) vein nearby?
Would appreciate any and all opinions!

Definitely make a visit to the Cathedral...there is a great deal of history there.

Yep, that's the first image that came to mind when they mentioned Cologne.

There are many great things in Cologne. It is an amazing city. Been there many times.

Must sees:

Cologne Cathedral
The 12 churches in the old city
Kölner Rathaus
Overstolzenhaus
The 3 medieval gates
EL-DE Haus (Nazi Documentation Museum)
