Seen on another board, there's an archive of U.K. weather reports for both world wars here:

Downloadable pdfs for two-week periods, several reports per day. Covers the British Isles and surrounding waters, not the continent. Worth a look for future reference, would have come in handy in the infamous "Bournemouth raid" thread...
