Hi everyone – I've been looking into Wellenmuster schemes for a couple drawings I'm planning to do. You can find everything from Fi 156s and Hs 129s in Africa to Stukas in Russia to Fw 189s in Norway (and lots of other types in lots of other places) painted with squiggles. However, I never recall seeing a single 109 or 190 painted this way. Can anyone explain? Someone will now probably post a trove of 109 and 190 pics that I've never seen in 3, 2, 1...

Now that you mention it, I've never seen a picture of any 109s until Crimea River posted pics having that scheme. A few 190F8s had something close to that.

It's actually not the one I was thinking of. There's another one with a very dark base paint and white or light grey wellen. Then there's this one but not really squiggly:

I knew it! I especially like the second one—I've never seen such orderly squiggles. Do you have any details about it?

Many thanks!

"Squiggle is squiggle" should be my signature! On red 9, the thin red line in the white spiral on the spinner is something else I've never seen.

Great stuff; thanks guys!

Yep it looks like.. however I have a doubt the spiral was white. I would say it was of silver or NMF.
