Was moving the exs old tv back in (after she said she would be fined) and glass end of tube hit my thigh. Left a massive bruise and ripped skin off. I couldn't walk for a bit, but hurts like hell. It would be difficult to walk tomorrow in building, but it should be better by then.

Walk it off?

Took my daughters car to the shop for a minor repair, they were a little stacked up and said it would be the afternoon (this was at 9:00am) before they could have it done. So I called said daughter to come get me and when she got there she accidentally rammed the curb with my car and cut a big gash in the right front tire. Spent 10 minutes calming her down, told her "Pfft, it's just a tire, don't worry". She wasn't crying because of that, she was upset because she was concerned about all the stress it was now going to cause to get it fixed.

She wasn't wrong, first, no spare, GM helpfully supplies a "Fix a Flat" kit. I'm sure a bean counter somewhere found data that the majority of flats are foreign objects in the tread. Not helping with a blown sidewall. Shop was very helpful however, got it on the rack and got the wheel off and sent to a tire dealer, they had to order the tire so car spent overnight (it's still there). Had to pull my SS Monte Carlo out of the garage to get to work this morning so that's a small plus, always fun to drive that.

The ironic thing is, they managed to get the car in and done while all that was happening so the bright spot is her car got fixed and ironically, I could have just waited as they were done with it in 40 minutes.
