Geo, that's for the Meta AI search feature and interestingly enough, the feature cannot be deleted, only "muted" meaning it's still running in the background. Thanks for checking and sharing the link.

In my case, my contact list is for the people I am friends with and this is where that Meta AI "friend" contact appeared.
And now I see that I have a "group chat" (where two or more contacts can speak privately) started by Meta AI and includes Llama 4, which is another AI program.

And it will not allow me to delete this group chat, either.

I had tthat happen and It wouldn't let me delete it. I had to make someone else the administrator and then I was able to delete the chat group. It happened like two times.

That doesn't look good,Rob. What irks me, CBC......An article about the Mt Polly Mine disaster; the tailings pond (dam) breached a few years ago.

A reader posted: "Why do you need a tailings pond? Why can't you release tailings into lakes and streams?"
Me: "There are some nasty chemicals in the tailings and need to be contained in the ponds"

My response was deleted by CBC because it didn't meet their standards. Seriously????? I worked on a dam 11yrs. I think I know a little about how mining works, The problem with CBC is that if you hurt someones feeling, they will report you to CBC and instead of contacting you to justify your comment, they just delete it to ease the hurt feelings

Yeah what could possibly be wrong with the Arsenic Cyanide, or mercury commonly found in mine tailings? Among other things. Most rivers in the upper peninsula of Michigan are contaminated with Mercury from run off from Copper mines from 100-150 years ago. Lets just keep doing it! Yeah sometimes I feel there is no hope for us.
 
To speed up the operations permits, our company sends all the crushed ore to China to do the process of removing the metals from the rock so the cyanide is China's problem. You are right about the Mercury; Phase 7 contains this

I have been having problems for some time now accessing my Webmail page, which I use in lieu of downloading everything. The ads on the webmail page are a real problem, the page freezing until the ads download and sometimes even accessing the page can be a lengthy effort, the cause being the time required to load fundingchoicesmessages from Google. Google is out to make sure they can cram all the ads possible in and are making whatever changes required to ensure that. They found that use of adblockers was having a horrific impact on their income, at times reducing it by as much as 25%, and for them that is $Billions.

The battery died when I was away and it seems to have taken the alternator with it. The hood was popped for the boost to get it on the flatbed. At least I got to see my old office while waiting for the train.

 
When you ride the Wash DC Yellow Line Metrorail south down to its termination at Huntington Park, one stop in Alexandria has the Amtrack station is on the other side of the overpass. You could just get off the Metro, go down and through the overpass and then get on the Amtrack. It's a kinda neat confluence of railroads there, kind of like an HO scale set up where things are all absurdly close. Rode the Yellow Line to the Pentagon or down to DC for almost 5 years up there.
 
A mom who forgets we have only one son and you do him like that on his birthday. All the complaining about seeing him (and the others), just so they can be trophies or lawn ornaments you can send away when you get tired of them. That really burns my a**. Rant satisfied.
