I'm pretty sure that there are projects going on that are not part of any group build or any started thread. Still I think it would be interesting to show those projects that are waiting to see again the light of day. Now that I have my shop back, daughter finally moved out, I can show what I've started and hopefully get them finished. My current project is a Sopwith Camel, 1960's kit. I remembered this kit and was surprised when I found on for sale at a train show. Of course I've added my own touch to it. Not like you model masters out there, but I like to tinker. Not a photoetched part used.

The weave was simplified by a type of sun blocking screen we use here in Texas. The seat was originally one piece of ugly plastic. I cut out the lower section, pasted some screen and copper wire, painted it and this is the result.

I'll add fuel caps later. At first I was going to use regular thread, but I cut them off when they started getting fuzzy. I have a spool of EZ line I'll use later.

The wooden parts are real wood.

Hope you like.

The metal behind the engine and along the firewall is foil duct tape. Just need to dull it a bit and it should do nicely. Another project I'm working on is the Vietnam Memorial statue called, The Three Servicemen. I'll post where I am with those later. My goal with it was to make the bronze statues come to life.
