The normal way to play EAW1.28c, but also a good way to see someone is online, a game is running or shal get played, is by using "GameRanger".
Its a rather stable gaming plattform, which also support EAW.
The maker specialy adjusted "GameRanger" to fit to the EAW1.28c possibilitys, it support max 16 players, instead of the max 8 of EAW1.2.
