Pretty much the title. Just an example of what a crash does to the various bits of a plane, not to mention the poor unfortunates who go down with the ship..

Fort Bragg and the crash site are 50+ air miles apart. Also not the only instance of such a crash in Mendocino County. 5 months earlier a near duplicate crash. Pan Am Flight 1104 - Wikipedia No one talks about scrounging at the crash site. Its in a part of the county that you REALLY don't want to be seen wandering about.

Yes, but Bragg is a well known geographic spot, so that's why I picked it.
