Assembly of the X-59A will begin in May, First flight is scheduled in 2021. It is designed to reduce the impact of sonic booms. Note the cockpit - it also will have
an electronic vision system for seeing forward.

Because of the long nose,to compensate it will have HD cameras (even on the underside) sending output back to a large video screen in the cockpit. Should be interesting.
 
In the 1980s there was a push to bury the B-2 pilots inside the aircraft and use only external sensors to fly. Cockpits tend to perturb the perfect aerodynamic design and also makes radar cross section (RCS) design more complex. It was quickly dismissed. The AF was not ready for that leap!
