I did touch up the boundaries, and seeing pics blown up see the leading edges need some touching up as well

yeah they set quickly, not sure if I'm going to try find another and take one off.
 
If you use a small paint brush, say less than a 1/4 inch wide, dip it in water and rub it lightly on a bar of soap just enough to pick a bit up on the tip. We're talking just enough soap to wash an ant ass. Apply a little swab of the damp brush where the decal goes and you will be able to move the decal around a bit to position it before it starts to stick. The soap stops the water from beading off the paint. Then hit it with decal setting solution. That kit brings back memories, I especially like that camo pattern. Me likes !
 
maybe just write it up as a air frame mechanic messed up, or a replacement wing.
 
Repainted the decal in wrong place, need to clear cote it again and when I find another close to same size. All fiddly parts on needs some paint and landing lights on
