Okay for all you Spitfire experts. I have a question.

On the side door of the spitfire with the glass break bar why are there so many different colour schemes? I have seen red ones, red and silver, RAF interior green and just silver. In period photos they look to be just silver. Comments?

Interior colour or silver. The red is a modern safety colour
