For this Zombie build I have a pair of Revell Bf109G-2/G-4 Kits started earlier in the year when I first got them.

The first and Primary build is a Bf109G-2 Flown by The Gruppen Kommandeur of III/JG 5 Hauptmann Heinrich Ehrler.
Strangely and for some unknown reason, Ehrler was flying an earlier G-2 model at this time, he had previously flown a Bf109G-6 aircraft, 'Yellow 12' as Kommandeur of 6/JG 5

The primary photo of his G-2 shows the rudder of his aircraft carries a victory tally of 131 victories as on the 17th March 1944 he had scored 7 victories during the day, his 125th to 131st , therefore dating the image the same day or days after.
The decorated rudder had been transferred from his G-6 last showing 115 victories to the G-2 showing '100' within a large wreath and a now 31 white bars in 2 rows beneath.

The Second aircraft a Bf109G-4, will be done in parallel and in the background, this Bf109G-4, White 10 was flown by another well known 100+ 'Experten' Alfred Grislawski of 7/JG52.
With Grislawski's G-4 showing 100 Victories in Yellow on his Rudder, number '100' scored on the 27th April 1943.

Now have done a little bit, been rather busy the past few days, however I had already done some cockpit assembly and sprayed the Grey previously, so have done some drybrushing on the G-2 and showing the painted G-4 Main cockpit assy too.

Now for those that wish to know the foot plate in front of the seat is not correct in the G-2/G-4 Kit it is fact the plate for the G-6, so I needed to go into a couple of my G-6 kits to get the 'Correct' foot plate as both are supplied in the G-6 kit...! See the extra image to note the difference top G-6, bottom G-2/G-4.

Nice and 2 to boot. If ihad time I'd love to do one of the Hasegawa g6 kits I have in the stash. So instead I'll do it vicariously .

Thanks Guys, bit more added to the G-2, seatbelts in place and the control stick too. The Fuel line is painted to install.

The 2 Instrument panels have had IP decals applied, Left from Hasegawa, the right Revell, quite a difference...! Hasegawa looks way better.....think I will add some to the Revell IP too....have some extra in the stash.

Beauty. Always loved that Eduard fuel line. I've got three other 109 kits by different companies and have been experimenting with empty ball point ink tubes with a bit of success. Getting the bendy parts is a slight issue
