The subject is Kawanishi N1K2-J Shidenkai "early version" (George) from 343rd kokutai - 301st Hikotai based at Kanoya, flown by Sugita Shoichi early April 1945. It seems that this "early bird" was flown by other pilots as Kanno Naoshi after the death of Sugita on 15 April 1945.
Another 343-11 "late version" (narrow chord fin variant: N1K2-Ja) was also flown by Sugita during March 1945... So I built the 2 model kits
And the additionnals
