Reminds me off a visit to the member's bar in the House of Lords, for a meeting with a certain Lord, back in the mid 1990's'
One of the Gent's toilets was signposted, on the door, "Peers Only".
Absolutely true, and I still grin at the memory !

I had peer pressure at about 2am this morning and had to get up to go.

A cousin once said that the road signs which denoted a parking area ahead (1 kilometre) were wrong as no one
could do that - the sign was simply P 1km.

My Aunty who is very quick piped up and said the Queen can.

Why?

Because she's the highest peer in the land.
